Cenvar Roofing & Solar is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide essential day-to-day technical support and act as the first point of contact for technology-related issues. This entry-level role emphasizes customer-focused service and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

You will help maintain systems, support users, and ensure a reliable IT environment while working on-site in Lynchburg, VA.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, and basic networks.
• Strong communication and customer-service oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and basic network issues
• Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, and IT equipment
• Assist with user account management, including password resets and access permissions
• Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in a ticketing system
• Maintain an organized inventory of IT assets, equipment, and supplies
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the IT manager when appropriate
• Assist with routine system maintenance, including software updates and backups
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, peripheral, and connectivity issues
• Provide support with a professional, customer-focused approach
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and troubleshooting
• Some familiarity with Windows and/or macOS operating systems
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site in Lynchburg, VA
• Previous experience in IT support, help desk, or a similar role (preferred)
• Experience working with ticketing systems (preferred)
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (preferred)
