Job summary

The Tiger Family of Brands in Charlottesville, VA is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide day-to-day technology support across the organization. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and mobile device issues, assist with onboarding new employees, and help maintain IT equipment and security standards.

Work closely with team members and vendors to keep systems running smoothly; you may support after-hours tickets and travel between Tiger locations.

Qualifications

• Experience providing IT support (1+ year) with relevant education or certifications.
• Proficient with Windows 11, macOS, Microsoft 365, and common business hardware/software.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN) with problem escalation.
• Strong customer service skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Able to learn new technologies and stay current with IT standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standard laptop/desktop/software configurations.
• Manage help desk tickets and provide timely end-user support.
• Assist onboarding/offboarding, account setup and device provisioning.
• Repair and maintain IT hardware and inventory tracking.
• Document knowledge base articles and IT processes.
• Support security practices (MFA, phishing awareness) and escalate incidents.
• Collaborate with IT team and vendors to ensure service availability.
• Occasional day travel to Tiger locations.
