Jobtailor is seeking an IT Support professional to back up a factory startup and ongoing manufacturing IT needs. The role covers site IT bring-up, imaging computers, and resolving end-user and network issues across factory floors.
You will install and repair PCs, printers, scanners, and shared devices, while managing user accounts in Active Directory and supporting mobile device enrollment. Strong communication and a service-first mindset are essential.
• Support a new factory startup and an existing factory facility
• Support site IT bring-up, early production ramp activities, and steady-state operations
• Load and verify software packages
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user, network, scanner, hardware, and peripheral issues
• Install, configure, image, identify, and repair PCs, peripherals, workstations, printers, scanners, and shared devices
• Resolve site-level incident management requests and monitor Service Desk queues
• Populate Knowledge Database and Configuration Management Database
• Manage queues and adhere to SLAs and KPIs
• Provide phone-based or remote support for offsite users
• Purchase software and hardware via the PO process
• Administer user accounts using Active Directory
• Support mobile device enrollment, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Maintain and support audio/visual equipment and standard IT applications
• Maintain computer-parts inventory and repair logs
• Provide training and technical assistance to users
• Support IT infrastructure and end-user readiness during factory build, commissioning, and production ramp
• Work in factory, warehouse, and construction-adjacent environments as systems and work areas come online
• Support extended hours or weekends during critical startup and production milestones
• Partner with IT leadership, facilities, manufacturing engineering, and external vendors
• Identify risks, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities during ramp
• Provide manager updates, conduct trend analysis, and drive continuous improvement
• Follow security, safety, health, and confidentiality policies
Demonstrates expertise in IT support for factory environments, including troubleshooting, software installation, and user training. Proficient in managing IT infrastructure and ensuring operational readiness during critical production phases.
