Prairieland FS, Inc in Pittsfield, IL is seeking an Information Technology Support Technician to provide technical assistance across the company. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, network and user-access issues while delivering excellent customer service.

This role supports installation, configuration, maintenance, and deployment of technology equipment and systems, upholding IT security initiatives and company standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or the equivalent.
• Two (2) years or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of information technology skills.
• Previous experience providing technical or help-desk support preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, computers, printers, mobile devices, and common business technology.
• Basic understanding of networking, wireless connectivity, cybersecurity, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to explain technical information to individuals with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with teammates at all levels.
• Ability to identify and address issues in a proactive manner.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and teammates.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support and problem resolution for information systems customers.
• Provides network setup and support for all locations.
• Develops and writes specifications and procedures for the installation and use of a variety of information system technologies.
• Responds to the needs and questions of network users concerning access to resources.
