Job summary

Prairieland FS, Inc. is seeking an Information Technology Support Technician to provide reliable, responsive technical support to employees across the organization.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and other technology issues to ensure staff can perform their jobs efficiently. The ideal candidate will communicate technical information clearly, work well in a team, and assist with onboarding, device setup, accounts, and IT projects while maintaining inventory and documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or the equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Two (2) years or more of related work experience in information technology support.
• Experience providing technical or help-desk support preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365, printers, mobile devices, and basic networking.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support by phone, in person, and via remote access.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, laptops, monitors, printers, and mobile devices.
• Assist with setup and deployment for new employees.
• Support onboarding/offboarding, including accounts and equipment setup.
• Assist with user account administration and password resets.
• Record and document issues and resolutions accurately.
• Escalate complex issues to IT team or vendors as needed.
• Support network connectivity and telecom infrastructure.
• Assist with IT projects and system upgrades.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and assets.
• Ensure devices receive updates and security protections.
• Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
