Job summary

Prairieland FS is seeking an Information Technology Support Technician to deliver technical assistance to employees across the company. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and user access while maintaining excellent customer service.

The role supports IT operations, security, and technology initiatives. Responsibilities include configuring and deploying equipment, managing licenses, supporting mobile devices, and providing best-practice guidance for business systems.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school degree or the equivalent.
• Two or more years of related IT experience.
• Experience providing help-desk support preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, computers, printers, mobile devices, and common business technology.
• Basic understanding of networking, wireless connectivity, cybersecurity, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to explain technical information to individuals with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and problem resolution for information systems customers.
• Set up and support network for all locations.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• Develop standards for network, devices and data security.
• Manage licenses for hardware and software.
• Support mobile devices and accounts.
• Provide superior internal and external customer support for systems and applications.
• Assist with evaluating future business systems to improve functionality.
