Job summary

Legacy Traditional Schools in Tucson seeks an IT Support Technician I to provide on-site technical support for employees and faculty, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain edtech software. You will be the campus main contact for IT tickets, assist with device deployments, AV systems, and travel between campuses as needed.

The role requires strong PC support knowledge, experience with Active Directory, Windows 10, ChromeOS and Google Workspace, and the ability to work under the guidance of the IT

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 3 years of progressive IT work experience in lieu of education requirement.
• 2+ years of experience configuring and setting up end-user devices (workstations, printers, mobile devices).
• Experience working in an ITSM ticketing system.
• Experience with Active Directory, Windows 10, ChromeOS, Google Workspace.
• Strong PC support knowledge across operating systems, networks, and devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, printers).
• ITIL or HDI certifications are highly desirable.
• CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification desirable.
• CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for IT tickets submitted by LTS employees.
• Assist in remote and on-site resolution of IT tickets.
• Triage and assign unassigned tickets to maintain SLA goals.
• Perform routine inventory checks at campuses.
• Assist with device deployments, AV issue resolution, and peripheral refreshes.
• Support and maintain conference room and stage AV.
• Provide IT support across multiple campuses and travel up to 25 miles.
• Develop knowledge base articles for end users (e.g., printer mapping).
• Identity and access management within SIS.
