Job summary

Vertex Education is seeking an IT Support Technician I to serve as the on-campus main contact for IT support at Legacy Traditional Schools. You will assist in troubleshooting, deployment, and maintenance of classroom technology, and collaborate with the IT Operations Manager to resolve issues quickly.

You'll travel between campuses (up to 25 miles) and support AV systems, devices, and edtech apps across multiple sites, handling tickets in an ITSM system while delivering exceptional service to

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 3+ years IT experience
• 2+ years configuring and setting up end-user devices
• Experience with ITSM ticketing systems
• Experience with Active Directory, Windows 10, ChromeOS, Google Workspace
• Strong PC support knowledge: OS, network, devices
• Experience with mobile devices and optional MDM
• AV equipment experience is a plus
• Familiarity with collaboration tools: Slack, Google Meet, Teams
• ITIL/HDI or CompTIA certs desirable

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for IT tickets submitted by employees
• Resolve tickets remotely and on-site
• Triage and assign unassigned tickets to meet SLA goals
• Perform routine inventory checks at campuses
• Assist with device deployment and AV issue resolution
• Support conference room and stage AV systems
• Provide IT support across campuses (up to 25 miles between campuses)
• Develop knowledge base articles with Level II team
• Manage identity and access in SIS
• Support Clever ed tech apps as needed
• Coordinate device refreshes and upgrades
• Coordinate activities with vendors
