Job summary

Vertex Education is seeking an IT Support Technician I to provide frontline technical support for staff and faculty across campuses. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and edtech apps, manage user accounts, and assist in device deployments with a focus on fast issue resolution.

You will support AV systems, work with ITIL/HDI practices, and occasionally travel up to 25 miles between campuses. A degree or equivalent IT experience is expected, with strong knowledge of Windows, ChromeOS, and

Qualifications

• An associate's Degree or three years of progressive IT work experience instead of the education requirement.
• 2+ years of experience with the configuration and setup of end-user devices (workstations, printers, mobile devices).
• Experience with ITSM ticketing systems and Active Directory.
• Experience with Windows 10, ChromeOS and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for IT tickets submitted by employees.
• Assist in remote and on-site resolution of IT tickets to meet SLA goals.
• Triage and assign unassigned tickets throughout the day.
• Perform routine inventory checks at campuses throughout the year.
• Assist with device deployment at new campuses and AV issue resolution.
• Support and maintain conference room and stage AV.
• Provide IT support across campuses and travel up to 25 miles between campuses.
• Develop knowledge base articles for end users to follow.
