Job summary

Tempus Unlimited is seeking an IT Support Technician to assist multiple departments, improving workflows with new technologies. The role demands 2–5 years in IT support in a user-focused environment and strong knowledge of computing, software, and networking equipment.

Training is in-person for 2–3 weeks; afterward, hybrid work is available. Responsibilities include health checks of LAN/WAN, remote support, on-site troubleshooting, inventory, and project work under the IT Manager.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of IT support/Help Desk experience in a user-oriented environment.
• Strong understanding of personal computing equipment, software applications and networking equipment.
• Active Directory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and maintains a variety of computing, network hardware and software on LAN/WAN.
• Performs diagnostic tests and repairs hardware at component level.
• Provides remote and onsite support to users and documents incidents.
• Maintains parts inventory and supports system changes.
• Troubleshoots network performance issues and assists admins as needed.
• Produces support documentation and participates in projects assigned by IT Manager.
