Job summary

Telos Corporation seeks an IT Support Technician to diagnose and resolve desktop and laptop issues, install and support Windows and macOS workstations, and manage printers and peripherals. You will assist users in person, by phone, and through remote tools, with basic network troubleshooting including VPN access.

The role is based in Ashburn, VA, requiring eligibility to access sensitive information and compliance with security and E‑Verify processes. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical IT training or relevant IT support experience.
• 3–4 years of IT support experience for desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• CompTIA A+ certification required or must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Proficiency with Windows 11, macOS, and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, user account management, and basic network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi, VPN).
• Experience using IT ticketing systems; ServiceNow experience is a plus.
• Experience with Dell/Apple hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve desktop and laptop hardware, software, and OS issues.
• Install, configure, and support Windows and macOS workstations and business apps.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot local and network printers and peripherals.
• Provide technical support to users in person, by phone, and via remote tools.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting including VPN access and wireless/wired connectivity.
