Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to deliver enterprise help desk support to staff. The role covers setup, troubleshooting, and asset lifecycle for computers, mobile devices, printers, and conference room tech, both on-site and remotely.

The ideal candidate will have strong IT skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. Flexible, self-starting, and organized, with strong communication, is essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience deploying and troubleshooting computer systems, hardware, printers, and IP networks in an enterprise.
• Experience supporting Microsoft technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier enterprise help desk support to SpaceX employees.
• Manage on-site inventory and the lifecycle of end-user IT assets.
• Procure, configure, and deploy computer hardware and mobile devices.
• Set up and support workstations for new and existing staff, including onboarding and offboarding.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, in person and remotely.
• Configure and troubleshoot desktop, label, and large multifunction printers.
• Support end-user network connectivity, including wired, wireless, and remote access.
• Support conference room and audio-visual setups.
• Improve help desk workflows, working with IT engineering and other teams to resolve complex issues.
• Write instructional documentation and explain technical issues in terms non-technical people can understand.
