Job summary

Valley National Group is seeking an IT Support Technician to join our technology team, assisting employees with hardware, software, printers, and connectivity while helping maintain a secure, reliable technology environment.

This role supports Microsoft 365 apps, onboarding/offboarding, inventory and documentation, cybersecurity, and AI tools, under the guidance of the VP of Technologies. An entry-level IT professional role with growth potential.

Qualifications

Associates or Bachelors degree preferred in IT/CS or related field.
0–3 years IT support, help desk, or related experience; internship ok.
Experience with Windows environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, phones, and connectivity issues.
Set up, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, monitors, and other equipment.
Support Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Assist with onboarding/offboarding, including account setup and equipment deployment.
Help maintain inventories, documentation, and support procedures.
Support cybersecurity initiatives, endpoint security, and user access management.
Assist employees with approved AI technologies (Microsoft Copilot, other tools).
Research emerging tech and contribute to process improvements.
