Job summary

Nimbus Atlantic Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking an IT Support Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, provide technical support to employees, and contribute to continuous improvement of our systems.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, install and maintain computer systems and networks, monitor performance, and document IT processes. A bachelor’s in IT or related field and at least 2 years of IT support experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or related field.
2+ years of IT support experience.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows and macOS).
Experience with network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls) is a plus.
Familiarity with ITIL framework and IT service management best practices.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and software applications.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
Assist in implementing new technologies and systems to improve efficiency and security.
Document IT processes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
Collaborate with IT team members to resolve complex issues.
