Qualifications

• Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy.
• Experience with Networking, Servers, and Workstations in a Windows Environment.
• Experience Designing, Installing, and Troubleshooting Cabling and Wiring Systems.
• Knowledge of Security and Anti-Virus Applications.
• Ability to Conduct Research into Emerging Technologies.
• Ability to Solve Complex Problems.
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Writing skills.
• Strong Customer Service Skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs desktop and end user support for various County IT locations; work at six locations as needed.
• Support desktop peripherals and end user hardware/software.
• Install, upgrade and maintain PCs and related hardware.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity including Wi-Fi and cabling.
• Assist in end user training on departmental hardware and applications.
• Inventory IT equipment and provide on-call emergency support.
• Other duties as assigned.
