Job summary

Back Bay Networks is seeking a Mid-Tier IT Specialist to support clients in the Dover, NH area and beyond. You will deliver proactive IT support across Windows and macOS environments, manage server and directory services, and assist with pre-sales demonstrations and on-site deployments.

Travel to national client sites is required. The role emphasizes strong customer service and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, with a focus on providing reliable, efficient technology

Qualifications

3-5 years of progressive hands-on IT experience.
Solid expertise in Windows Server environments (2012-2022), Active Directory, Windows client OS, and macOS in a business setting.
Diagnose and resolve networking issues, including basic firewall configuration and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide expert-level end-user support for macOS and Windows installations, configurations, and usage.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues via phone, email, and remote access, escalating when needed.
Perform on-site diagnostics, repair, and maintenance for client IT infrastructure when remote resolution is not feasible.
Document all interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system and contribute to knowledge base.
Administer client environments with Windows Server (2012-2022), AD, Exchange, and Microsoft 365.
