Job summary

Boston Properties, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Specialist to assist desktop and laptop users with installations, upgrades, and problem resolution across the Boston area.

You will respond to requests in person or via remote tools and escalate issues when appropriate. The role requires at least 1 year of service desk experience in a Microsoft environment, strong Windows 11 and Office knowledge, and familiarity with SCCM, RDP, and AD/Intune.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; BA/BS preferred.
• At least 1 year of service desk support in a Microsoft environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with remote control tools (SCCM, RDP) and modern management (Intune).
• Understanding of basic networking (switches/routers/hubs).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with all employee levels and multi-task effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and laptop support, installs, upgrades, and problem resolution.
• Respond to requests in person or via remote tools and escalate when needed.
• Diagnose hardware issues and coordinate repairs.
• Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Support Windows policies, SCCM, OUs, and Intune configurations.
• Maintain hardware/software inventory and standard images.
• Assist with conference room AV systems and network services.
