Job summary

H&MV Engineering in Texas is seeking a proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team. You will serve as the primary IT contact for employees across the region, providing first and second-line technical support while taking ownership of local IT operations.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support Microsoft 365 and Windows environments, manage IT assets, coordinate with vendors, and collaborate with global IT teams to deliver exceptional support services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT support, service desk, or end-user computing experience.
• Strong experience with Windows 10/11 and end-user hardware.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Hands-on with Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, and Entra ID.
• Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi‑Fi).
• Experience with meeting room and AV tech.
• Experience asset management and hardware lifecycle.
• Excellent customer service and communication; explain tech to non-tech.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary IT contact for all employees within the Texas office.
• Provide end-user support via tickets, remote, Teams, phone, and in person.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and apps with minimal downtime.
• Install, configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, peripherals, and software.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding and hardware provisioning.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Administer Entra ID, Intune, and endpoint management.
• Troubleshoot networking including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi, printers.
• Own incidents from ticket to resolution; coordinate with global IT and vendors.
• Maintain IT asset inventories and hardware lifecycle.
• Assist with IT security initiatives and policies.
• Create IT docs and SOPs.
• Support office expansion, meeting rooms, relocations, infrastructure upgrades.
• Occasional after-hours support.
