Job summary

M&H Valve and Tyler Union, divisions of McWane, Inc., seek an IT Support Specialist to maintain computers, networks, and telecom systems. You will troubleshoot issues, install/configure equipment, support end users, and help run the IT infrastructure following The McWane Way values.

The role requires customer focus and independence, with emphasis on Windows/macOS environments, cybersecurity basics, and proactive IT support across Manufacturing and Office sites.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or related technical roles preferred.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Technical: Knowledge of Windows 10/11 Pro, Microsoft 365, and network concepts; printer and print services; LAN/WAN concepts; VoIP and telecom infrastructure; security best practices and endpoint protection; documentation of procedures and support activities.
• End User Support & Hardware Maintenance: Install, configure, deploy, and maintain software on company devices; image and deploy new desktops/laptops; diagnose and resolve hardware/OS/software/connectivity issues; provide day-to-day user support.
• Printer Support: Install and configure network and local printers; troubleshoot drivers and connectivity; perform routine printer maintenance.
• Network Support: Basic network troubleshooting, test cabling and switches; assist with LAN/WAN connectivity and project deployments; maintain IT inventory and documentation.
