Job summary

Yale Cancer Center seeks an IT Support Technician 2 to provide comprehensive user support, desktop support, and endpoint management on-site at West Haven, CT. You will assist with network connectivity, AV requests, and routine system maintenance while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include managing desktop environments, AD/group policy, software/hardware inventories, and user training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manages a department’s complete desktop computing environment.
• Maintains Active Directory units and implements group policy needs.
• Keeps software inventory and ensures up-to-date operating systems and apps.
• Maintains hardware and peripherals inventory and coordinates vendor repairs.
• Installs and coordinates repair of devices on desktop and network.
• Responds to calls for support in email, scheduling, backup systems, and apps.
• Trains users and supports AV requests; documents all problems.
• Works with others to integrate network and software products.
