Job summary

Leeds Professional Resources is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support to end users and internal teams. The role includes maintaining hardware and mobile devices, asset records, and assisting with day-to-day IT operations.

Open to entry-level candidates, with some SQL experience. Travel to client locations or job sites may be required to resolve issues and deploy solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required, with ability to travel to locations.
• Technical training or certification in information technology preferred.
• At least two years of experience providing technical support in a networked environment.
• Working knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) technologies.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional approach with end users.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems, prioritize requests, and work independently.
• Strong sense of accountability, reliability, and ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of computers, mobile devices, peripherals, and other technology assets.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and technical projects through the help desk or ticketing system.
• Perform initial troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, and repair of computer hardware and related equipment.
• Coordinate with external service providers for specialized repairs.
• Travel to company locations or job sites to provide in-person technical assistance.
• Evaluate issues, determine solutions, and escalate when needed.
• Provision and configure employee accounts, devices, and apps per security requirements.
• Manage lifecycle of mobile devices (iPads, iPhones, Surface, etc.).
• Assist with testing new hardware/software prior to deployment.
• Investigate issues and engage additional resources when necessary.
