Job summary

The role covers endpoint computing, classroom technologies and network connectivity, plus first-tier A/V support for meetings and events, documenting incidents and guiding users with clear self-service resources.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field and one year of related work experience.
• Two years of experience may substitute for each year of required education.
• IT Helpdesk experience preferred in an education/teaching environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT helpdesk support for Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
• Install, configure, and upgrade computers and peripherals; manage hardware inventory.
• Troubleshoot network issues and VPN connectivity with campus services.
• Provide first-tier A/V support for classrooms and meetings.
• Educate users with documentation on services and security tools.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support complex systems.
• Lift and move items up to 50 pounds and follow safety practices.
