Job summary

Volta is seeking an IT Analyst to be the first contact for IT at our Palo Alto offices. You will handle day-to-day IT requests, onboarding/offboarding, asset records, and maintain a reliable office IT environment.

You will own the IT support queue, manage access using JumpCloud and M365, support devices, and assist with networking and AV setups. A hands-on role with ownership from day one.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years in IT support, service desk, or a comparable IT operations role.
• Hands-on Microsoft 365 experience from an admin or support perspective.
• Practical device support experience across Windows and macOS.
• Exposure to identity and access administration with JumpCloud/Okta/Entra ID.
• Solid networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, VPN, WiFi.
• Clear written communication and strong documentation habits.
• Service mindset with security and policy respect.

Responsibilities

• Own the IT support queue: triage, resolve, and escalate with context.
• Handle account access, software installs, licensing requests, hardware faults.
• Support meeting room and AV equipment; ensure video conferencing works beforehand.
• Execute onboarding/offboarding: JumpCloud, M365, device shipment, access revocation.
• Maintain asset inventory and device lifecycle; monitor enrollment and policy.
• Administer JumpCloud, M365, Slack, and Atlassian tooling; manage permissions.
• Write end-user guides and runbooks; identify repetitive work for automation.
• Provide on-site IT support and act as local vendor liaison.
