Job summary

Per Scholas is seeking an IT Support instructor to join our Training Team in a full-time onsite role in the United States. The candidate will deliver instructor-led IT Support training from entry to mid-level, assess student progress, and provide tutoring and support as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of teaching or training experience, a solid technical background, and strong communication skills, with proficiency in Zoom or similar platforms.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of teaching or training experience.
• Strong technical background; able to convey highly technical topics.
• Ability to respond clearly to live digital conversations via Zoom or in-person training.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support instructor-led training that prepares students for entry-level to mid-level IT Support careers, including daily instruction and assessments.
• Provide students with access to resources for outside learning on technologies and study aids.
• Collaborate with the team to identify student needs and create individualized achievement plans, with participation in status meetings.
• Maintain Salesforce and/or LMS with grades, certifications, and progress notes.
• Support and maintain curricula, syllabi, lesson plans, and classroom materials.
