Job summary

Per Scholas is seeking an IT Support instructor to join our Training Team. The role emphasizes delivering instructor-led IT training, evaluating student progress, and providing targeted support to learners’ development.

You will work to ensure students gain entry to mid-level IT careers, leveraging your technical background and strong instructional skills in a dynamic, mission-driven startup environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of teaching or training experience.
• Strong technical background; able to convey highly technical subject matter.
• Ability to respond clearly to live digital conversations via Zoom or in-person training.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructor-led IT Support training from entry to mid level.
• Provide students with access to resources and study aids.
• Identify student needs and set individualized achievement plans; participate in status meetings.
• Maintain Salesforce and LMS with grades, scores, and progress notes.
• Support and update curricula, syllabi, and lesson plans.
