Per Scholas is seeking an IT Support instructor to join our Training Team. This role focuses on delivering instructor-led IT training, assessing student progress, and providing targeted support to help learners move from entry-level to mid-level IT careers.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of teaching or training experience with a solid IT foundation and excellent communication skills. A business-minded, accountable mindset will help meet client and learner expectations in a dynamic,

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical/industry experience).
• Strong technical aptitude (Google Sheets/Excel, Slides/PowerPoint, Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, etc.), project management, and organizational skills with detailed follow-through abilities.
• Excellent written communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Solid understanding of business needs.
• Strong evaluation and data management skills.
• Prior knowledge or background in IT (if minimal, a desire and willingness to learn what’s needed) and a passion for technology is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications, such as CompTIA A+ (1200 Series) , Network+, or others.
• At least three years of experience in an IT support role.

Aufgaben

• Support instructor-led training that prepares students for entry-level to mid-level careers in IT Support.
• Provide students with access to relevant resources for outside learning on technologies and study aids relevant to the curriculum
• Work closely with the team to identify student needs, provide the necessary support, establish individualized plans for student achievement, and participate in regular student-status meetings.
• Maintain and update Salesforce and/or our LMS with student grades, certification scores, and progress notes.
• Support and maintain the training curricula, syllabi, lesson plans, and other classroom materials.
