Job summary

Vector Atomic, Inc. in Pleasanton, CA is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our hands-on IT team. You’ll provide Tier 2/3 Windows support with Linux exposure and own issues end-to-end, including devices, accounts, and security hygiene.

Responsibilities include Active Directory/Group Policy, network services, cloud productivity tools, MDM/RMM platforms, and collaboration with engineering and operations to keep systems compliant and reliable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional IT support or systems administration experience in an enterprise environment.
• Strong Windows OS troubleshooting and administration capabilities.
• Practical experience with Directory Services (Active Directory) and Group Policy.
• Solid understanding of core networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs)
• Hands-on experience with endpoint management, deployment tools, or RMM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for Windows systems and foundational Linux support.
• Deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Support cloud productivity tools, user account lifecycles, authentication, and access controls.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset management records, and SOPs.
• Assist with directory services, central identity management, and group policy administration.
• Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and firewalls.
