Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking an IT Support Engineer to assist a dispersed user base from its New York office. You will provide end-user support, manage tickets, and perform Windows and Ubuntu maintenance, upgrades, and configurations while documenting procedures.

You will handle hardware/software deployment, O365 administration, onboarding of new users, inventory, and AD group management. A US security clearance is required or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Experience providing helpdesk support and resolving end-user issues.
• Familiar with Windows and Linux operating systems and mobile platforms.
• Strong Office 365 administration and AD management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide helpdesk support and resolve issues for end-users
• Monitor and respond quickly to IT helpdesk requests
• Document and update internal technical procedures and guides
• Automate and manage Windows and Linux workstation setup for new employees
• Support onboarding of new users and maintain asset inventory
• Assign users/computers to AD groups and perform upgrades
