Job summary

Benefis Health System in Montana seeks an IT Support Technician to install and update computer hardware and software for end users, and to optimize device efficiency. You will assess environments for wiring, coordinate equipment movement, and help users access applications.

The role requires high school diploma with 4 years hardware support experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred and technical certifications are highly valued. Knowledge of hospital or medical information systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Installs and updates computer and device software and hardware for end users and optimizes device efficiency.
• Evaluates work environments for appropriate network wiring and electrical connections; coordinates movement of computers and equipment.
• Resolves issues with end users' access to applications and technologies; orients end users to devices and tools.
• Performs routine maintenance on computer and peripheral equipment.
