Job summary

Benefis Health System in Great Falls, MT is seeking an end-user support specialist to install and update computer and device software and hardware for staff. You will evaluate work environments for proper wiring and equipment layout, coordinate movement of computers and peripherals, and resolve access issues to keep applications accessible.

You must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with 1 year of hardware support experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; technical certification highly preferred.
• Experience configuring and diagnosing end-user devices.
• Familiar with current end-user device technology and trends.
• Hospital or medical information systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs and updates computer and device software and hardware components for end users.
• Evaluates work environments for appropriate network wiring and electrical connections.

Education/License/Experience Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent and one (1) year of computer hardware support experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Technical certification and training highly preferred. Experience in hardware and software installation and customer education. Proven ability to configure, diagnose, and master use of user devices. Familiar with current end user device technology and trends. Hospital or medical information systems experience preferred.
