The Solutions Team, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Engineer II to provide advanced Level 1 and 2 technical support across multiple client environments in Birmingham, AL. The role focuses on troubleshooting, systems administration, and escalating complex issues as needed.

You will manage Windows systems, Microsoft 365, networking tasks, and security hygiene, while documenting solutions and communicating clearly with clients and internal teams. On-site work is expected in the Birmingham metro area.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years IT support experience.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows Server.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Live in Metro Birmingham Area.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot advanced issues related to Windows systems, Microsoft 365, networking, and security tools.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls across client environments.
• Monitor and maintain servers, workstations, and network devices.
• Perform patching, updates, and security hardening tasks.
• Serve as escalation resource for lower-level engineers.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in service management systems.
• Communicate technical information clearly to clients and internal teams.
