Job summary

The Solutions Team Inc is seeking an IT Support Engineer II to provide advanced Level 1 and Level 2 support, focusing on troubleshooting, systems administration, and supporting multiple client environments in the Birmingham metro area.

Responsibilities include resolving issues related to Windows systems, Microsoft 365, networking, and security tools, administering user accounts and permissions, and maintaining accurate documentation in service management systems.

Qualifications

2–4 years of IT support experience.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows Server.
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Live in Metro Birmingham Area.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot advanced issues related to Windows systems, Microsoft 365, networking, and security tools.
Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls across client environments.
Monitor and maintain servers, workstations, and network devices.
Perform patching, updates, and security hardening tasks.
Serve as an escalation resource for lower-level engineers.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in service management systems.
Communicate technical information clearly to clients and internal teams.
