Job summary

OpsTech IT in Union, Ohio is hiring an IT Support Engineer I to implement technical solutions and deliver high‑quality hardware, OS and enterprise software support. You will troubleshoot straightforward problems, handle network/PC issues, and contribute to continuous IT improvements.

The role requires hands‑on experience with Windows Server, networking and client/server delivery in a corporate setting, with occasional travel and the ability to lift up to 49 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
• 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience.
• 2+ years of networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, TCP/IP) experience.
• 2+ years of Windows/Mac/Linux OS support in a corporate network.

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting across software/hardware environments.
• Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
• Provide analytical and technical assistance for IT solutions improvement.
• Manage local technical projects and create/update policies and procedures.
• Identify root causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours; travel up to 25%.
