Job summary

Construction Procurement Solutions, LLC is seeking an IT Technician to support computer hardware and software, resolve end-user issues, and assist the Help Desk Manager in deploying and maintaining systems. The role includes hands-on laptop/Desktop support, Microsoft 365 account management, and basic networking tasks in a busy, networked environment.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree in CS or related field, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Associates degree in Computer Science or related field.
Direct user support experience in a large, networked environment.
Experience installing and maintaining Windows 10 and Windows 11; Windows Server 2016+ is a plus.
Experience configuring and maintaining Microsoft 365 accounts.
Basic understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts.
Valid license and good driving record.
Type at least 30 words per minute.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Vendor certifications (A+, MCSE, CCNA, etc.) preferred.
Integrity and adherence to ethics and policies.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Assists Help Desk Manager with configuring and repairing laptops and deploying new computers.
Troubleshoots and resolves end-user computing problems over the phone and in person.
Analyzes problems and determines appropriate maintenance or hardware/software solutions.
Prepares and submits vendor warranty claims and related documentation.
Provides desktop and mobile phone system support and sets up new users.
Performs other duties as assigned; occasional after-hours work may be required.
