Job summary

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Engineer I in Minnesota (Shakopee) to implement technical solutions and provide high-quality support for computer hardware, OS, and enterprise software across sites in a defined region. You will troubleshoot straightforward problems and help keep infrastructure available during production hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment
• 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation
• 1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery
• 2+ years of networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP) experience
• 2+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience
• 2+ years of supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment experience
• High school or equivalent diploma
• Possess and maintain a current, valid Driver License

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting across software and hardware environments.
• Ensuring infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
• Providing analytical and technical assistance for continuous IT improvements.
• Managing local technical projects.
• Maintaining or creating policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identifying root-causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.
• Moving up to 49lbs and standing/walking during shifts up to 12 hours.
• Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
• Traveling within your local or regional area to support our customers.
