MatX is seeking an IT support professional to act as the first point of contact for help desk issues. You will triage, resolve or escalate, and provision laptops and user accounts for new hires while deprovisioning for departures.

The role covers hardware deployment across MacBook, ChromeOS, and Linux, and ensures devices meet MDM and security baselines. Applicants should have 2–4 years’ experience, be organized, and capable of quick learning.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years IT support or help desk experience in a startup or fast-paced env.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace, GitHub, and Linux; basic networking/security.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate clearly.
• Willing to work on-site in Mountain View three days per week.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the first point of contact for Help Desk issues and triage.
• Provision laptops and user accounts; deprovision for departures.
• Assist with hardware procurement and deployment (MacBook/ChromeOS/Linux).
• Maintain device fleet, MDM enrollment, and security baseline compliance.
• Support corporate mobile BYOD enrollment.
• Maintain conference room AV and office networking.
• Track actions and coordinate with teams; update documentation.
