Job summary

Discovery Land Company is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join its Information Technology Department. You will provide technical assistance to internal users and ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and software across the organization.

The role covers desktop/server support, troubleshooting, and collaboration with staff. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, and experience with Windows/macOS and Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other commonly used business applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
• Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support to internal users across desktop computers and applications.
• Install, configure, and test computer systems and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve unique problems affecting operations.
• Assist IT Director and contribute to IT infrastructure projects.
• Support remote users and troubleshoot via phone when needed.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software issues.
