Discovery Land Company is seeking an IT Support Specialist to help staff with desktop, server, and network support across multiple project locations. You will install, configure, and test computer systems, diagnose issues, and provide timely support to local and remote users.

The role emphasizes strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a focus on high-quality user support and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/CS or related field.
• Proven IT support, troubleshooting, and maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to high-quality support.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ or MCDST are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff with technical support of desktops, applications, servers, and related technology.
• Install, test, and configure computer systems and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve problems across applications and operating systems.
• Support IT infrastructure and vendor relations.
• Provide hardware/software support to local and remote users.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, SQL Server, and other systems; implement corrective actions.
