Job summary

Discovery Land Company seeks an IT Support Engineer to join the Information Technology Department at a project location outside of the nearest city. You will provide technical assistance and ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and software across the organization.

The role requires troubleshooting, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and with a team, with flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or equivalent experience.
• Proven IT support, troubleshooting, and maintenance experience.
• Experience with Windows and macOS; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists staff with technical support of desktop computers, applications, server systems and related technology.
• Installation, testing, and configuration of computer systems and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve problems with applications, OS, and networking.
• Support IT Director and assume increasing responsibilities for the IT infrastructure.
• Provide hardware/software support to local and remote users; troubleshoot via phone.
• Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution of desktop, server, and networking systems.
