Job summary

Discovery Land Company is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join the Information Technology Department to support staff with desktop, server, and application needs. The role involves installing, testing, and configuring systems, and resolving unique technical issues in collaboration with the IT Director.

You will provide hardware/software support to local and remote users, troubleshoot across applications and networks, and assist with ordering and onboarding of IT assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or CS or equivalent work experience.
• Proven IT support, troubleshooting, and maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with MS Office and common business apps.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists staff with desktop, server, and application support.
• Install, test, and configure computer systems and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve non-recurring technical problems across software and hardware.
• Support local and remote users via phone or remote access.
• Collaborate with IT leadership and manage orders for equipment.
• Provide staff training and orientation on hardware and software use.
