Job summary

TECEZE in Louisville, KY is seeking a deskside support technician with 3–5 years of IT infrastructure experience to join our on-site team. You will be the front line for internal users, customers, and vendors, providing hands-on technical troubleshooting and rapid issue resolution.

The role covers basic networking, data center operations, monitoring tools, and ITSM usage (ServiceNow). Strong communication with remote teams is essential, along with hardware diagnostics and server/storage

Qualifications

• Understand network devices and basic VLAN concepts.
• Familiar with ITSM processes and monitoring tools.
• Experience with servers and storage hardware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand network devices (switches, routers, wireless APs) preferably CISCO and Riverbed.
• Basic VLAN port assignment understanding.
• Patch phone ports to switch as needed.
• Troubleshoot and replace switch chassis blades.
• Networking and OS basics.
• Assist network and data center admins during troubleshooting.
• Basic hardware knowledge: servers and storage.
• Interpret monitoring tool outputs.
• ITSM tool knowledge (ServiceNow preferred).
• OS basics: Windows Server 2003, UNIX/Linux.
• Knowledge of Windows 2003 AD and MS Exchange 2003.
• Experience in SLA-based environments.
• Knowledge of server performance monitoring.

• We are seeking a skilled Deskside Support with 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support.
• The role involves handling basic networking, data center operations, monitoring tools, hardware troubleshooting, and ITSM tools.
• You will act as the on-site support partner, assisting internal teams, customers, and vendors in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• This is a hands-on role that requires both technical knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with remote teams.

Job Description:

• Basic Knowledge of Network Devices such as Switches, Routers, Wireless Access Points preferably CISCO, Riverbed
• Basics knowledge / understanding of assigning switch ports to specific VLANs
• Patch phone ports to switch as needed
• Troubleshoot and replace network switch chassis blades when required
• Networking and Operating System basics
• Assist network and data center admins (Internal, Customer and Vendor) as required during the course of technical troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge about Hardware like Servers, Storage devices
