Placements24 is seeking a knowledgeable and reliable Support Desk Analyst to join their IT team in Queenstown. The role focuses on diagnosing and resolving a wide range of IT issues for internal users and external customers, with opportunities to contribute to IT infrastructure improvements.

The position involves providing remote and in-person assistance, maintaining documentation, and ensuring minimal disruption to operations in a dynamic community setting.

Competenze

• National Certificate or Diploma in IT or related field.
• Proven experience as a Support Desk Analyst or similar IT support role.
• Solid understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common applications.
• Experience with network troubleshooting and remote support tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Mansioni

• Respond to and resolve user-reported problems and service requests concerning hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Provide remote and in-person technical assistance to users, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
• Document all support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of IT support documentation and knowledge base articles.
