Job summary

The Catholic Chancery in Jefferson City, MO is seeking a dependable IT Support Coordinator to serve as the Diocese’s internal point of contact for technology support. This role ensures prompt, competent, and courteous assistance for chancery staff, priests, and diocesan employees, and acts as the interface to the contracted IT services provider.

The Coordinator owns the end-user experience, routing complex issues to the provider and staying with them until resolution, including guiding staff

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of hands-on technical support
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Experience supporting staff and priests is a plus
• Ability to operate as internal liaison with external IT provider

Responsibilities

• Serve as the internal point of contact for technology support
• Ensure prompt, competent, and courteous assistance for chancery staff and diocesan employees
• Route complex requests to the contracted IT services provider and follow through until resolved
• Support technology transitions, including migration to Microsoft 365
• Maintain an accurate inventory of computers, monitors, mobile devices, and software licenses
