Job summary

Berean IT is seeking a dependable IT Support Specialist to assist staff with day-to-day technical issues, onboarding/offboarding, and basic systems administration. You will help maintain Microsoft 365 services, user accounts, and SharePoint sites, while coordinating device setup and printer support.

Strong communication and a patient, service-oriented approach are essential. Experience in church or nonprofit settings and familiarity with planning/CRM tools like Planning Center are a plus.

Qualifications

• Formal IT training or certification in IT/IS, networking, or related field.
• 1 year or more of IT support, help desk, or similar role.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support for staff devices and basic network issues.
• Manage Microsoft 365 accounts, permissions, and basic configuration.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding and device provisioning.
• Coordinate with vendors for printer and hardware issues; track assets.
• Log and prioritize requests using an IT ticketing system; escalate when needed.
