Job summary

Governors State University seeks an Information Technology Support Associate II to perform 2nd level support across computer operations, imaging, deployment, desktop support, and service desk tasks. AV support, equipment transfers, and student worker supervision are included in the role.

The position operates on a full-time, on-campus schedule, with standard hours Monday–Friday and competitive fringe benefits.

Qualifications

• Four to six years of computer hardware/software support experience.
• Two to three years of Apple/Mac user support and deployment experience.
• Four to six years of Windows user support, deployment and patch management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technology support across Windows/Apple environments, imaging, deployment, and service desk operations.
• Support audio/visual systems, repairs, deployments, and classroom or event setups.
• Inventory control and processing of equipment transfers between departments per ITS procedures.
• Assist supervision of student workers and help manage project tasks and training.
