Nova Southwestern University seeks an entry-level IT Support Technician to provide timely technical support to students, faculty and staff. The role covers hardware installation and maintenance, remote troubleshooting, and on-site support in classrooms, offices, clinics, and campus facilities. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.

Strong customer service and basic knowledge of hardware, software, AD and networks are needed, with opportunity for growth within NSU's technology services.

Qualificações

• Basic knowledge of tools used for technical troubleshooting and repair.
• Basic knowledge of computer and audiovisual systems, Active Directory, and network.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.

Responsabilidades

• Install and maintain hardware for faculty and staff to ensure technology resources function properly.
• Repair and troubleshoots technology issues at sites and remotely to resolve problems quickly.
• Provide first-line support for hardware/software installation, configuration, and maintenance across desktops, laptops, and devices.
• Assist with relocation of equipment within facilities and proper disposal of technology.
• Create and resolve technology tickets in the ticketing system in a timely manner.
