Münzing Corporation is seeking a personable Junior IT Support Specialist to provide day‑to‑day technical support for employees and help maintain IT systems. You will troubleshoot hardware/software, set up workstations, manage user accounts, and assist with IT security and documentation.

The role emphasizes customer service, learning, and adaptability in a dynamic environment, with travel to other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent hands‑on experience/certifications.
• 0–2 years IT experience; certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ are a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Basic understanding of IT principles and willingness to learn networking concepts (VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VoIP).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Office 365.
• Exposure to Active Directory and Azure AD administration.
• Exposure to VMware and Veeam backup solutions.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
• Comfortable adapting in a fast‑changing environment.
• Self‑motivated with a drive to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day technical support to employees for hardware, software, email, phone systems, and other IT issues.
• Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, copiers, and AV equipment.
• Manage provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts, equipment, and system access (including Microsoft 365 licensing).
• Assist with administration of user accounts and access permissions across systems and apps.
• Perform basic Active Directory tasks: create/disable accounts, reset passwords, manage groups.
• Support password resets, MFA enrollment, and access issues.
• Prepare, image, configure, and repurpose computers for employee use.
• Monitor helpdesk requests and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Assist with basic IT security tasks like antivirus alerts and phishing investigations.
• Maintain inventory records of IT hardware, software, licenses, and equipment.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting procedures.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and project teams for troubleshooting and support.
• Support routine maintenance activities and IT-related projects.
• Travel to other locations for on‑site support as needed.
• Perform other IT duties as assigned.
