Job summary

Sowelo Consulting is seeking a Junior IT Specialist to join their Managed Service division in the Düsseldorf and Cologne area. In this entry-level role you will deliver Level 2 support for workstations, mobile devices, and standard software, manage hardware assets, and assist regional IT leaders with local PC coordination.

The role is onsite or hybrid with enterprise tools, training, and clear career development paths.

Qualifications

Up to 1 year of professional IT support experience or practical IT training/education.
Foundational knowledge of Windows 11, Office 365, Outlook, and PC hardware troubleshooting (HP focus).
Basic understanding of service desk ticketing systems, IT asset lifecycle, and remote support tools.
Ability to provide clear customer-oriented support via phone, email, and on-site.
Fluent German and communicative English (minimum B1).

Responsibilities

Provide L2 support for Windows 11 PCs (HP hardware focus), mobile devices, iPads, printers, and standard software.
Log, diagnose, resolve, and escalate complex incidents in the ticketing system.
Manage full lifecycle asset workflows: deploy, receive, ship, and process returned leased devices.
Assist with hardware upgrades/downgrades and configure systems via deployment tools.
Troubleshoot email clients (Outlook), Office 365, Cloud PCs, Citrix, IP/softphones, and print queues.
Maintain IT inventory logs and oversee hardware tracking tools.
Support regional leadership with local infrastructure coordination and end-user hardware refresh programs.
