Job summary

TEKsystems in Portland, OR is hiring an IT Support Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity. The role focuses on desk-side support, account provisioning, and AD/G-Suite administration as the organization migrates to JumpCloud.

The position requires 2–3+ years of Tier 1 helpdesk experience, familiarity with ServiceNow, and strong AD/G-Suite skills. Onsite work with a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of Tier 1 helpdesk and desktop support experience.
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow).
• Strong Active Directory experience (migrating to JumpCloud is a plus).
• Proficiency in AD/G-Suite/MS Office/Slack/Zoom/VPN/Asset management/VoIP.

Responsibilities

• Create and decommission user accounts in AD and Google Workspace.
• Assist in Windows 10→11 upgrade and AD migration to JumpCloud.
• Respond to IT issues via ticket system, chat, phone or in-person.
• Escalate issues and coordinate referrals to appropriate personnel.
• Install/configure desktop hardware, software, OS, network components, and telecom gear.
• Process onboarding/offboarding and account changes via AD and G-Suite.
• Deploy new desktops/laptops and track asset allocation.
• Decommission hardware after offboarding; research accessories.
• Manage and track company assets using multiple tools.
