Job summary

Young’s Holdings is seeking an IT Specialist to be the central point of contact for our users in Solana Beach and San Diego. This hands-on role covers helpdesk tickets, endpoint management, and maintaining a secure Microsoft 365 environment.

You’ll report to the Director of IT in a small team of two, own end-to-end user support, systems administration, vendor coordination, and help drive IT security and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of desktop support experience in a Microsoft environment.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune).
• Active Directory and Entra ID administration.
• Experience troubleshooting Dell and Mac hardware.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
• Experience with a helpdesk ticketing platform (Freshworks or similar).

Responsibilities

• Triage and resolve hardware and software related helpdesk tickets within SLA targets either in person or remotely; follow up with users to confirm resolution.
• Support the full Microsoft 365 suite: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Office, and other apps
• Manage user accounts and access in Active Directory, Entra ID, and Azure, including onboarding and offboarding
• Manage and monitor endpoints patching, alerting, remote support, and health checks
• Image, configure, and deploy laptops and other hardware for new employees
• Maintain hardware inventory and coordinate equipment shipping and returns
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows 11 systems in a hybrid cloud/on-premise forest
